Engagement Session
It is important (and fun!) for me to get to know you both as a couple and as individuals. I love learning about your story and what makes you uniquely YOU. This allows me to correctly portray you both as a couple and who you are to each other.
Engagement sessions are a great way to loosen up, build trust and calm those nerves that often appear when we are in front of a camera. It helps tremendously as a "practice" or "rehearsal" for your big day! All while getting some amazing pictures of your pre-wedding day bliss.
While price is always a factor when selecting your engagement photographer, it should not be the only thing that matters. It is important to hire a experienced photographer who has the eye for photography. Photography is an art, and I am a full time artist.
You will
cherish these images for the rest of your lives. When it’s all said and done, your engagement photography will be irreplaceable as time goes on, as these images capture the couple for who they are in their prime, and just before married life.
One thing often overlooked when selecting an engagement photographer is the the amount of time you will spend with your photographer to make your vision come to life.
Typically you will want your engagement photographer to be with you for at least an hour to capture this special time in your lives. I prefer not to put a time cap for your session, and will never leave a shoot without being fully satisfied with our work. Having that said, my engagement session usually takes anywhere from 1 -2 hours depending on the location of the shoot.
