This week I ventured out late at night... in the C O L D and took a few pictures of the stars. What you normally see when you look into the sky, is not what you can capture in a picture. When you open your aperture (f3.5) up, lower your shutter speed (20 sec) as well as raise your ISO (1000), you can capture the lights of the stars you can't see with your eyes. Here are a couple of pictures I took last night from my front deck. The long streaks are actually cars coming up the mountain, which I though added an interesting detail in the picture.
This is overlooking our town of Franklin.
