It's hard to understand cancer unless you have gone through the experience. Meet a cancer survivor. . she has fought cancer and WON!

October is recognized as Breast Cancer Awareness Month and as part of the Shoot for a Cure photographers around the country photograph women and men that have or are facing breast cancer. 

This is Juliette... an amazing women that found breast cancer and won! Her story is simple but speak loudly to us women. Juliette went for her regular mammogram where they discovered she had breast cancer. She didn't let this hold her down, she went through surgery and now is cancer free. To all of the women out there- including procrastinating me, make an appointment for your regular mammogram and be a survivor like Juliette. 

Juliette, you are such a wonderful person and such an inspiration. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to spend time with you while we captured your spirit and are truly an inspiration to me!
